About Yoga at INDUSTRY

Hatha Flow
Hatha yoga is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) with a deep sense of alignment through the breath, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Nearly every type of yoga class taught in the West is some form of Hatha yoga. Our signature Hatha Flow class will guide you through the postures with deep breathing and a focus on alignment within a gentle flow to build strength. All levels welcomed.

Gentle Flow
The Gentle Flow class is the perfect all level experience that ignites the body and mind. This class will incorporate yoga asana (postures) pranayama (breathwork) within a simple flow. Each teacher brings their own style and you will be introduced to some simple inversions and balancing postures too as a way to build strength in an easy flow.

Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a general term used to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Though many consider it to be “gym yoga,” this style of practice was originally closely modeled on the Ashtanga method. Our signature Power Yoga teachers have an extensive background in alignment and can offer an amazing power workout while giving modifications to new students. Be prepared to go deeper into your practice with inversions and arm balancing. It is suggested to have some yoga experience but not mandatory.

Vinyasa Yoga
The word Vinyasa means “to place in a special way.”. A Vinyasa style yoga class is fun and dynamic as our teachers will move you through a conscious connection between the movement and breath creating an energetic sequence of poses designed to create heat, strengthen the body while focusing on the mind. Our teachers will provide modifications for the newer student while giving our more advanced student a challenge.

Yin- Restorative Yoga
Our Yin- Restorative Yoga Class combines the energetic practice of Yin yoga which will allow you to hold certain postures that ignite the connective tissue of your body, while concluding the class with Restorative yoga postures that is relaxing, supportive, powerful and healing. Perfect for those who are looking for gentle stretching and strengthening with the use of props. Blocks, bolsters, and blankets support the body allowing it to open through dynamic and passive stretching wirh rhythmic breathing, leaving the body and mind feeling open and refreshed.
